general questions

  • No — we carefully curate your final gallery to include only the very best moments, expressions, and compositions.

At SidPix Studios, we don’t just click and dump. As a professional wedding and portrait photography studio, we take pride in delivering a polished, emotionally rich final product. That means we eliminate test shots, near-duplicates, out-of-focus images, and frames with unflattering expressions—all to preserve the quality and integrity of your gallery.

For instance, when we shoot wide open with low apertures, we often take multiple frames to ensure perfect focus. Or during candid moments like laughter and emotional tears, we may capture several versions to select the most flattering, meaningful expression.

With years of experience and millions of images processed, we know exactly what to keep and what to cut—so you receive a refined, cohesive, and high-impact visual story without the clutter.

  • Yes, we offer professional wedding videography services alongside our photography collections.

Our cinematic wedding films are designed to complement your photography and tell your love story with motion, music, and emotion. • We’ve photographed at hundreds of wedding venues across Texas and beyond—so there’s a good chance we have!

But even if we haven’t worked at your specific venue, you’re in great hands. Our process includes arriving early on the wedding day to conduct a detailed walkthrough and scout out the best photography locations with natural light, clean backgrounds, and creative potential.

Additionally, we perform extensive online research and virtual venue exploration before your big day to ensure we’re fully prepared. Whether it’s a familiar ballroom or a brand-new outdoor space, our creative approach and experience allow us to adapt quickly and deliver stunning results.

  • Yes, we love capturing destination weddings and are available for travel worldwide.

While SidPix Studios is based in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas, we proudly serve couples across the U.S. and around the globe. From tropical beach ceremonies to European vineyards and cultural destination events, we bring our signature style and storytelling approach wherever your love takes you.

Our destination wedding photography packages are custom-built and include all essential travel costs such as airfare, lodging, and reasonable accommodations—so there are no surprise fees. We handle the logistics so you can focus on celebrating.

Let your story take us anywhere. We’ll be there—with camera in hand and creativity in focus.

  • In most cases, the photographer you meet during your consultation will also be the one capturing your engagement session and wedding day.

We believe in providing a personalized wedding photography experience, so we match clients with photographers based on personality, availability, language preferences, and referrals. For example, if Sid photographed your friend’s wedding and they referred you, it’s likely he’ll be the one working with you as well. If you need a Hindi or Indian language-speaking photographer, we’ll make that accommodation too.

You’re always welcome to request a specific photographer, and we’ll do our best to make it happen. Either way, rest assured—you’ll be matched with someone who’s not only incredibly skilled, but also aligned with your vision and story.

  • We offer full-day wedding photography & videography coverage on weekends to ensure we capture your story in its entirety.

Partial day coverage is not available for weekend weddings. To maintain the quality and personalized experience SidPix Studios is known for, we exclusively book weekend clients seeking at least 8 hours of wedding photography coverage or whose photography budget is $5,000 and above.

This ensures we deliver a luxury, stress-free experience while capturing every meaningful moment — from getting ready to the final dance.

  • Yes, SidPix Studios offers a wide range of professional photography services beyond weddings.

If you’re looking for a professional photographer near you in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, or Houston, feel free to reach out — we’d love to bring your vision to life.

wedding day

  • We recommend reviewing our Ideal Wedding Photography Timeline, which outlines how much time to allocate for each part of the day—from getting ready to the final dance.

While every wedding is unique, planning enough time for getting ready shotsfirst look photosceremony coveragefamily portraits, and sunset couple portraits ensures that your final gallery feels complete, intentional, and stress-free.

  • Yes, we charge for the full duration of your contracted coverage—even during breaks or downtime between events.

While it may appear that we’re not actively shooting, we’re still working—backing up files, traveling between venues, setting up lighting, scouting new photo locations, or using the time to capture extra couple portraits or detail shots. Every moment we’re booked is part of delivering the seamless, high-quality experience you’ve trusted us to create.

  • We understand weddings can run late—and we’ll never pack up the moment our time is up.

If the celebration runs long, we’ll check in with you before our contracted time ends to see if you’d like us to continue. If so, we simply bill for additional coverage at the rate outlined in your contract, rounded to the nearest 30-minute increment. That way, you stay in control and we keep capturing memories without missing a beat.

  • While we dedicate the full day to your wedding, extended coverage includes extra time, effort, and post-production that must be accounted for.

Our photographers, assistants, and lighting crew all require compensation for the additional hours. Plus, more coverage means more images to curate, edit, and perfect—increasing the time and resources required during post-production. Charging for this coverage ensures we maintain the quality and service standards you expect from SidPix Studios.

  • In over a decade of photographing weddings, we’ve never missed a single event — but we still have a solid contingency plan.

Our studio works with a trusted network of trained photographers and second shooters who are familiar with our style, workflow, and standards. In the rare case of illness or emergency, one of them would step in to ensure your day is documented with the same professionalism and creative quality SidPix Studios is known for.

Because your wedding is the most important day in your life — we treat it like the most important job in ours.

  • Booking us is simple and personalized.

First, reach out to confirm your wedding date is available. We’ll schedule a quick discovery call to understand your vision and walk you through our collections and experience.

If it feels like a good fit, we’ll send you a booking proposal that includes your custom quote, contract, and payment terms. A signed agreement and $1000 retainer officially lock in your date.

We take on a limited number of weddings per year to ensure a premium experience — so we recommend reaching out early to secure your spot.

  • Yes, absolutely. We’re fully insured — which many venues require — and we always come prepared with professional backup gear.

We carry multiple cameras, lenses, lighting setups, memory cards, and even have second shooters and assistants on standby in case of emergency.

Weddings are once-in-a-lifetime events. We believe in over-preparing so nothing gets in the way of your memories being captured beautifully and safely.

  • Yes — travel fees may apply for weddings outside of the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area, including Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and destination weddings.

Travel fees typically include transportation, lodging (if overnight is required), and meals depending on the event location and duration. We’ll always discuss and confirm these costs in your proposal before booking.

  • Absolutely. We frequently collaborate with planners, coordinators, and videographers to ensure a smooth timeline and cohesive creative approach.

Sharing timelines, shot lists, and key moments in advance allows us all to work together efficiently — so your day runs seamlessly, and every detail is beautifully captured.

  • We always have a Plan B.

If weather becomes an issue, we’ll work with you to either adjust the schedule, find an indoor alternative, or reschedule the session. For weddings, we come fully prepared with weather-resistant gear, umbrellas, and creative lighting techniques to turn any storm into stunning, cinematic images.

  • Yes! While we don’t replace a full-service planner, we offer timeline consulting to ensure your day flows smoothly for photography. From helping you decide when to do your first look to coordinating family portraits and golden hour shots, we help build a stress-free schedule that prioritizes both artistic magic and real moments.

  • Yes to all of the above. We’re happy to offer vendor referrals (makeup artists, florists, planners), help organize your shot list, or even suggest style tips for outfits that photograph beautifully. Our goal is to be your creative partner, not just your photographer.

  • Absolutely. We specialize in vibrant, multi-day cultural celebrations and can help you design the ideal coverage across Mehndi, Sangeet, Haldi, Wedding Day, and Reception. From outfit changes to ceremonial rituals, we’ll guide you on how to make the most of every moment.

engagement session

  • You can expect to receive your fully edited engagement session photos within 6–8 weeks from the shoot date.

We take great care in our post-production process to ensure every image reflects our signature style. If you need your photos earlier than the standard timeline, we do offer rush processing for an additional fee. Just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

  • We recommend scheduling your engagement session as early as possible—ideally no later than 10–12 weeks before your wedding date.

This gives us ample time to edit your photos, deliver the final gallery, and produce any custom products such as albums or save-the-date cards. Planning ahead also helps secure your ideal location and light conditions, especially during peak wedding seasons.

  • While we primarily shoot weddings on weekends, weekday engagement sessions are preferred for flexibility and quieter locations.

If weekends are your only option, we can tentatively reserve a date; however, please note that wedding bookings take priority and we may need to reschedule. Additionally, weekend engagement sessions incur an extra fee due to high demand and limited availability.

  • For a 3-hour engagement session, we typically deliver 50–70 professionally edited images.

For weddings, you can expect around 60–80 images per hour of coverage, depending on the flow of events, number of locations, and what’s being captured. We focus on delivering a curated set of high-impact moments that tell your story authentically and artistically.

  • Yes, we offer custom-designed save-the-date images for $150 each.

This service includes professional text design with your name, wedding date, and optional location or hashtag, applied to one of your engagement photos. These are perfect for digital announcements, invitations, or printing through your preferred stationery provider.

  • Yes — all delivered images come with personal print rights.

This means you’re free to print, share, and post your photos online for personal use. If you’re working with a printer or album designer, we’re happy to provide high-resolution files upon request. Commercial usage may require additional licensing.

  • Yes. Whether it’s a hidden gem in Dallas, an iconic spot in Austin, or an elegant studio session, we recommend locations based on your style, light preferences, and season. We also scout in advance and guide you on permits, best times, and what to wear for maximum impact.

style & quality

  • Our photography style is modern, glamorous, and deeply influenced by editorial and fashion photography.

At SidPix Studios, we’re known for blending creative lighting, stylish compositions, and artistic post-production to craft imagery that not only looks beautiful—but tells a story. Our wedding photography is designed to highlight your personality, beauty, and emotion in a timeless, expressive way.

We don’t just capture moments. We create artful narratives that elevate your memories into iconic visual keepsakes.

  • We’re fully equipped and experienced in photographing weddings in low-light venues, including dark chapels and dimly lit reception halls.

Our team uses a combination of off-camera lighting setupslow-aperture lenses, and professional-grade cameras with exceptional low-light performance to ensure every shot is crisp, clean, and full of detail—even in challenging lighting conditions. If flash photography is not allowed (as with some chapels), our equipment still allows us to deliver stunning results.

Explore our gear and low-light toolkit here or contact us to view real wedding samples from similar venues.

  • No—our team is trained to maintain a consistent style, quality, and artistic standard across every session.

All photographers at SidPix Studios follow our signature approach to lighting, composition, editing, and visual storytelling, refined over years of experience in the industry. While we offer personalization based on your vision (e.g., light and airy vs. dramatic and moody), the overall quality and creative intent will always match what you see in our portfolio.

We review every shoot internally to ensure that the final imagery meets our high standards, no matter who is behind the lens.

  • Yes, absolutely!

We’re proud to share full wedding galleries so you can see how we document an entire day—from the anticipation and details, to the ceremony, portraits, and reception celebrations.

Simply Contact Us & we’ll be happy to send you a sample wedding gallery based on your venue, style, or preferences.

  • Yes, we welcome your ideas and visual inspiration.

While we follow a carefully crafted storytelling approach, we’re happy to review any must-have moments or style preferences you share. Just note: Our top priority will always be capturing genuine, in-the-moment beauty as it unfolds.

  • Absolutely. During your planning process, we’re happy to guide you through creating a moodboard — from editorial inspiration to family photo groupings. Whether you’re leaning toward cinematic romance, bold and colorful imagery, or classic elegance, we help shape a visual style that feels uniquely yours.

post production

  • Yes — every image you receive from SidPix Studios is professionally edited using our signature post-production style.

We apply consistent color correction, exposure balancing, tone enhancement, and stylistic adjustments across your full gallery to ensure a polished and cohesive look. This means your photos won’t just be straight out of the camera—they’ll be carefully refined to highlight your story with clarity, warmth, and emotion.

Unlike some studios that only edit select images, we ensure every photo delivered meets our creative and technical standards.

  • Touching up refers to our standard post-production process, where we apply light adjustments such as color toning, contrast optimization, clarity refinement, and occasional black & white conversions. These edits preserve a natural look while enhancing the overall aesthetic of your photos.

This is included in all our collections and ensures your final images are ready to print, share, and treasure without any extra work on your part.

  • Advanced retouching includes more detailed edits like blemish removal, reducing under-eye shadows, smoothing flyaway hairs, and other natural skin or facial enhancements. These are often applied to select portraits or close-up shots and are included in certain packages.

Custom retouching, on the other hand, involves extensive Photoshop work—such as removing distracting objects from the background, altering body shape, or compositing elements into a photo. Because these requests vary in complexity, custom retouching is priced separately and billed hourly.

If you’re interested in custom editing, feel free to contact us for a personalized quote based on your project.

  • All final images are delivered through a private, password-protected online gallery.

You’ll be able to view, download, and share your photos in both high-resolution and web formats. We also offer optional USB delivery or custom album design as part of your package.
